Laurie Crouse was more than just our real estate broker, she was our ´move mentor.¡ She helped with all phases of our move, and really listened to us and cared about our concerns and interests. She helped us find the perfect house in the perfect town.
My wife, Laura, and I had never bought a house before. We didn't know a wet bar from a wet basement; insulation from insurance. We didn't know what to look for or what to look out for. Moving from New York City to Weston, we didn't know anyone in the area, and certainly no attorneys, housing inspectors, mortgage brokers, insurance brokers, water-treatment specialists, etc.
But Laurie did. She understood we wanted not just a house, but a home. With charm and unwavering patience, she helped us pick the perfect town and the ideal house at the right price, then recommended the entire team of "service providers." She even helped us find our new car, a nanny and a yoga class. Now the process is over and we are happily settled in our new home, we consider Laurie a great friend. It certainly would not have been so easy (or even possible) without her.

Given the real estate market, I count my blessing I sold my house and that I had you as my real estate agent on that transaction, and my two others!!! I love you Laurie Crouse.

Dear Laurie,
It's a new year, and John and I wish you all the best for 2007. This thank you note is long overdue with our move finally done, I have been thinking about this past year and the role you played in it.
Beginning with your first visit to our house to meet with us to discuss working together, culminating with the closing, your professionalism, warmth and caring was always constant. Laurie, you have the gift to make your client feel that they are your number one priority at all times. That nothing they ask of you is too great a task; no request, question, doubt, change of mind or heart is too demanding or bothersome. That is how John and I
felt throughout our partnership with you this last year. Your expertise and advice was
right on every time and your capacity to listen to our needs and always consider them
first made such a difference in what was at times, a stressful and emotional journey. John
and I always felt completely comfortable and confident with you at the helm. You have such a depth of understanding of the real estate business plus a personal style that is warm and winning. Also, we thank you for generosity in referring us to the best real estate lawyer, mortgage broker, and building contractor. This kind of knowledge, service, expertise and heart only comes with incredible experience plus a breadth of respect and care for people and the business itself.
Laurie, you are one in a million. And John and I think you ought to be the one teaching the course " How To Be a Truly Effective and Ethical Realtor"!
Thank you for all your work and total commitment in getting our house sold.
I miss you, my friend and think of you often.
Love,
Linda

Laurie,
Hello and Happy New Year!
Just a note to let you know how much I love the bowl you gave us.....it looked so beautiful for the season filled with jeweled colored Christmas ornaments and....I have wonderful thoughts of you every time I see it on my dining room table.
I can never thank you enough for all you did for us! It was a whirlwind of a year but thanks to you - we not only landed on our feet but enjoy a beautiful home. I know Rich chats with you ever so often and he always says how busy you are... but if you ever get some time, please stop by again. We all miss you and look forward to another visit. The kids are doing well and have settled into schools and activities. I can't believe I am halfway done my first year of teaching. And Rich seems to be managing his commute :)
We had many wonderful blessings in 2007 and one of those was meeting you.
All the best,
Ann
